    There was corruption in many religions long before capitalism. I don't have any sort of turboatheist-style problem with religion as a concept, but it definitely has some inherent, structural issues. Acknowledging them is probably the first step to guarding against them.

      Great point, probably something to do with the power structures and ability to coerce people.
