It's funny how true this is. I just kept wearing dead/Phish shirts to a bar by my apartment and eventually the door guy and I became friends because he used to go to shows. A year later and he gives me free samples of weed whenever I walk in and I bought a bunch of acid off him. That was back when bars were a thing, of course.
