They were fudged on reddit too so it makes sense they would be equally fudged on win

That's because here, the feds post carefully to blend in; there they get to relax and post unironically.

It helped that they had a 3 month period where they locked the whole sub and were able to recruit everyone from there to join the new site.

The "hacked" warning is Google is a generic warning almost always related to spam. Things like black market pharma, essay writing, knockoff sports jerseys and the like. I'm not entirely certain why t_d would be flagged unless they've recently had an issue with spam/bot accounts posting spam links all over the place. The warning usually takes a few weeks to clear up because Google needs to reindex the website after a reconsideration request has been put through to Google.

If the site was distributing malware it would say "this site might harm your computer" and that is a much more severe warning.

Hmm, what's it say if you click on "may be hacked"? I wonder if there's a basis for it or if it's just google scaremongering about sites they don't like.

I clicked on it myself and the pop up says that sites get flagged when someone suspicious adds/edits existing pages. So there's a very real chance that the mods fudging the numbers is what set off google's AI, and that the chuds don't need a real hacker to fuck up.
