That a Dublin bus? If so the Marxism conference is cool. I've gone a few years, one highlight was meeting Aaron Dixon from the Black Panthers. A low light was that lad who owns Jacob in being wrong at me. A mid light was the bookstore which had some nice titles.
Your milage may vary-lights: its run by and riddled by trots who awkwardly wedge in criticisms of the Soviet Union. I ignored it and used my sexual charisma to purge thr air of bad vibes.
Nah this is in Western Australia (Dublin buses do look pretty damn nice though); and yeah, I heard from one of my mates that it's a mixed bag but worth going to especially for the guest speakers and bookstore. I think I might go to the 2021 conference, the program looks pretty solid.
Honestly I don't have an issue with criticism per se, but it sucks when it's just hamfisted and can't be fairly countered without creating a dogpile.
If your friend's the same person I'm thinking of who was told to pay copyright fees for the prints, they're a bloody legend.
Sweet, he seems like cool guy; and yeah I can get that, really hard to schedule stuff when everyone starts having separate timetables, this year just amped things up, I haven't seen some of my mates all year.
I'm in South Korea right now and the subway system is such a blessing. God damn GM for dismantling nascent public transportation projects.
Yeah South Korea's public transit system seems really nice and the highspeed internet too. Hard agree, the U.S got fucked by car companies.
