    If America goes full fash then China becomes the leader of the free world. So America has a huge incentive in keeping its (albeit bullshit) liberal democracy pretensions alive.

        i just don't see europe being capable of that. a second world war 1 where they blow each other to bits is more likely.

        Living in Europe, I'd say that's completely impossible. The extreme-right would grow exponentially if that were to happen.
