Libertarians shouldn't be trusted, but they can occasionally do a decent job of critiquing the current government.
The issue is when they turn from this type of criticism to "wait why is the Post Office a thing," or when they start talking about solutions to these critiques. Frankly, "both sides bad" also does more to encourage apathy than it does to inspire people to do the monumental task of solving the problem, too, unless it's paired with a damn good plan for improving things.
