Don't worry. I looked it up and this new term has been used for 8 years already. Perhaps they are going to be moving away from "jizz" (cringe to do so) but I don't think they are retconning it.
Okay so I made a mistake - jatz is actually 29 years old. Wookieepedia has canon and legends sections for both jizz and jatz. Maybe jizz being a nickname for jatz is a retcon, but both are still canon terms.

Disney purchased the Star Wars brand in 2012, so if it's been retconned for 8 years then Disney were the ones to retcon it.
