Had a big struggle session when some recruiters for a ghoulish company (a VERY ghoulish company) came to visit and posted their flyers on our group chat (80 ish people). I called out that these people had blood on their hands, posted some combat footage (nothing gory but enough to get people to remember weapons aren't a neutral asset), posted Killing Hope, etc. Obviously people were quick to take sides; I got called mentally ill and had a lot of people rushing to tell me how they could never do any wrong. Whatever. The thing that got me though was that just about when it was all over, a guy that had joined in to sorta-dunk on the ghoul apologists posted "whatever, to each their own. I'm not gonna preach". Really? To each their own? You'd say "to each their own " while watching a mass shooter unload into a crowd? Don't wanna offend any sensibilities?
