Chapo.chat is really morphing into something the subreddit was not, and it's a bit of bummer to know that it's really gone and won't be coming back.

Debating? Really?! Of course I get and support the transphobia Purges and bans, but debating? I feel like the mods have got a little powertrippy and think they can shape this forum into what they believe it should be, but that should not be their place, a forum should be organic (minus slurs, abuse ect). And this is coming from someone who really admires the mods and admins for all the work they have put into the site.

There has to be some transparency or some step in taking the hands off the reigns, or this experiment is gonna fail. Sorry for the rant lol

Edit: just want to emphasize I really appreciate all the work the mods/admins have put in, far more then most of us have. I understand it must be a difficult position to balance thousands of people's desires for what the site should be. Just think it should be more hands off or, maybe democratic/transparent, I dunno..

Honestly, I don't think I'm ready for just how brutal things will be in the future. I'm not ready for violence against masses of climate refugees or how everything will get worse. Even a revolutionary situation sounds absolutely terrifying.

I don't mean to be a doomer though, so I'd appreciate hearing how others overcome these feelings

Yes, also Pol Pot was a nationalist asshole who wanted a peasant agrarian society (which leads back into not understanding Marx, who considers industrialisation to be a good thing on balance.), ignored the mass line, and attacked Vietnam first.

    Edit: removed ableist language.

Every year I get eczema in new places. This winter I’ve been enjoying the experience of having it on my nipples and eyelids!

Nipples are so fucking bad the skin is so thin and sensitive. For eyelids it kinda feels like you can't do anything because steroids can't go on the face and lotion on eyes hurts :(

If someone told you that your balls smell like funnel cake in a good way would you consider it compliment (serious question)
