I don't really see the point anymore tbh Overnight this site went from cool community to just another shitposting board in my mind

yeah i'm a little annoyed that anyone pointing out that the mods are banning people for no reason is labeled a wrecker.

if you contest someone's ban 'wrecker.' if you even upvote someone else contesting someone's ban you're shamed in a featured post on the front page, by someone who then is allowed to tear you apart and insult you, and if you respond as if offended in anyway, your post is removed, and you too are labeled a wrecker, ala CEO-Train.

and the amount of bootlicking in the replies in that post is just astounding.

there's the user union, but the mods don't have any kind of actual procedure they follow, and even if the general consensus is to unban the person it's at the leisure of the mods anyway.

This. Place doesn’t even feel like CTH anymore. There was never 10 million struggle sessions, or such bizarre moderation.

But the struggle sessions there were leftist in nature, these seem to be meta about the community as a whole and users and mods and shit. I’d much prefer the old sessions about dengism and anarchism and other things.

People made posts shitting on specific mods and users all the time. It just didn't make the front page. It makes the front page here because we have much less users and the algorithm for sorting posts is different and a lot faster than reddit.

I guess I was more of a sort by hot type chap. Though I did sort by new some, but I guess I was either not that perceptive or simply didn’t care enough to get involved in weird feuds.
