        Yes. In Italian Futurism's own manifesto it spoke of burning down libraries, abolishing compassion and tenderness in all its forms, and destroying anything feminine in society in favor of phallic masculine imagery of rockets and cars everywhere. It was like a practice run for the kind of shit up-yours-woke-moralists preached generations later.
