As a South African Biden's lies about protesting apartheid piss me off to no end and are extremely racist. To give some context, he said he tried to visit Robben island, near Cape Town, was arrested in Soweto, for trying to visit Robben island. That is frankly impossible because Soweto and Robben island are over 1600km (1000 miles) away. You cannot access Robben island from Soweto and even claiming to do so ignores basic geography and is extremely insulting to people who actually fought against apartheid. Here's the Biden quote:
