      I agree, they were smarter than Parler in self-hosting. It's just annoying to see them take credit for things that were already developed by others, and then hide the source for most of it.

      I was thinking about this too. It's a good idea to build out an entire eco-system that doesn't rely on capitalist interests. It actually something I think we really should be expanding to imho. It's like building dual power.
