I just chatted with a former roommate who quit his job because he hated it and moved out around ~10 months ago. He really needed it at the time because his mental and physical health was just absolutely in the ditch from that job. He's much happier now, found a new job that pays more for less work, is living across the country in Virginia, and he's looking to go to graduate school to help develop green tech. All in all, a great situation for him and I'm happy that he's doing well. He even told me he'd give me a referral if I wanted to move too.
