The current Russian Communist Party is bigger on nationalism and soviet nostalgia than having a remotely communist platform so I don't think it'll happen.
Slim to nil. 30 years of nationalism from the Baltic to the Gobi is a hell of a drug.
Likelihood that Russia acts like a militaristic expansionist? Reasonably high. Likelihood that something resembling the Soviet Union results from its efforts? I wouldn't hold my breath.
I could conceivably see communism make a comeback in some former Soviet republic (some more likely than others), but the likelihood of all those former SSRs returning to communism AND banding together in a new USSR? Very very very unlikely.
