Danny has, to my mind, accurately classified coffee and nice socks as luxuries, yet King seems to think he's misunderstood the question. When I showed them, a colleague of mine seemed just as confused, asking if Danny was born in an impoverished nation.

What was great about that interview was how Larry King only got interested when Eric Andre was talking about killing himself.
Also the slight twinge of disgust when Eric said he was Jewish.

I'm sure they were referring to Larry King being disgusted. From watching it, at first cause he thought Eric was fuckinf with him and then because he realised they are legit of the same faith which Larry couldn't handle.
The interview in general is hilarious, Eric Andre in an interview can't help but revert to his show persona and clearly wants to turn the tables and start interviewing Larry King. Larry King hates it.

yeah, i kinda dropped off drinking it after a strong acid trip in the fall and i'm glad i did. i don't really trust the supply chain, and having a tolerance isn't doing me any good. now i can have a little teacup of it on a saturday and it actually works as a stimulant.

Not all tea. There are some really good Chinese teas where working conditions for the pickers has greatly improved over the last couple decades.
But most black teas seem to be from India or Sri Lanka, where conditions are near our actual slavery.
I literally saw this post, thought he had died, checked and saw he was still alive, read his Wikipedia which mentioned several health issues and his recent COVID-19 diagnosis and was like "oof, he's probably going to die from that", went to sleep, woke up and saw he'd died.
