It's the price government must pay to distract from the fact that the rumble at the capitol was allowed to happen for reasons of politics. If they were to just go back to the usual high security policing system there some folks might start asking questions about its effectiveness, and the investigation into who really encouraged the events of that day (or merely looked the other way, which amounts to the same thing) would get serious. We love our police state, don't we folks?
