Her reliving past trauma because of that is really shitty but it doesn't actually change the magnitude of what happened. No members of congress were hurt. None were taken prisoner, none assaulted. They got scared real bad, that sucks.
She's currently holding a session for congress to tell us all about their problems and their trauma.
It all has to be about them.
Not the hundreds of thousands of dead people, not the millions getting relief, not the hundreds of millions currently enduring the shared trauma of an uncontrolled pandemic.
No we have to talk about the trauma experienced by congress.
Numbers aren't going to fix organizations that lack direction or are pointed in entirely the wrong direction.
We can get more members in DSA to pressure people who are totally unaccountable. That will work.
We can get more people in unions who aren't radical, don't claim to be, and even if they were have no answer to the attacks that already killed unions.
I'm not blaming her for her life being in danger, and I didn't say anything when she decided to discuss it on instagram.
I do have a problem with, in an environment like America, her bringing it into congress so they have a free chance to pump up an attack where not one of them was hurt.
and doing this in the middle of a pandemic? Like I said, a couple hundred people will die while she's doing this shit instead of demanding COVID aid.
edit: I also don't need to see this from the party that merced the MeToo movement the moment it became even slightly inconvenient.
The fact that this organization includes the CPUSA people at all immediately shows they are nothing more than a propaganda agency.
Read up on it. They did nothing wrong and the laws used against them were ripped apart as soon as we got a supreme court willing to actually consider the 1st amendment.

months ago I bought stuff to build a drone and some stuff to get into FPV racing.
I just realized that now I live near a park. I can actually do this now.
and it's socially distant. :)
