    In the land of freedom we voted for HSR in California 13 years ago. Should be finished in 2033. During those 13 years the land of tyranny built 15 thousand miles of dedicated HSR lines. Would I trade my right to vote for a national HSR system in less than 10 years? Not a fucking chance

    Edit: lol I just looked at the CHSRA website and their touting finishing a supplemental environmental impact report on a section of line between Fresno and Merced, jfc embarrassing

      Is there even really an environment to impact between Fresno and Merced. I figure they had lowered the water table and depleted the soil so much that nothing's going to grow there even if you try.
