Chicken chasers rise up.
The only one I ever played was 3. Can't forgive how I was forced to become a landlord to save the world.
Played Fable 3 with a friend and had a good time, three instances spring to mind.

There was that one demon door that you needed to open by kissing, dancing and tickling another player. He was so awkward when our characters kissed like real A W K W A R D stuff. I was like "Dude, it's not like we got married in real life, chill.", Ah good times.
-
Later on because he was hosting the game only his character actions counted, so when he got married I harassed the fuck out of his wife and after he kicked me from the game the wife was still mad because the game assumed that HE had been bullying his wife instead of, ya know, the other player.

There was that one village filled with those werewolf things, balverines. The game bugged out and as we entered it the good doggos didnt aggro on ME, but I also couldnt attack them. So the whole area was me basically solving the quests and my friend running around getting his ass beat by a horde of doggos piling on him.
Otherwise we just had a lot of fun dicking around, co op games tend to be fun no matter how bad they actually are.

weird how fable ended up being considered a classic. everyone I knew hated it when it came out.
You're better off tracking this, assuming you have the hardware for it: https://github.com/xenia-project/game-compatibility/issues/205
It's the most flawed of the 3, I'll give you that, but I still had an overall great time with it personally.
They stressed so much how your weapon would change depending on use and it just wasn't as in depth as they hyped it up to be. I liked the road to rule though.
Wish I could play it on good hardware and get rid of that shitty film grain filter and all the choppiness
Oh Peter Molyneux, you and your glorious dream of soil erosion will live on forever in your decision to make some profoundly flawed video games
You... can, I'm pretty sure ? they seem to be well rated for compatibility with wine, especially with dxvk / d9vk.
If you need help setting it up, feel free to ask; although my way will be manual (compiling wine and so on) because that's the way I do it, and you can almost certainly find an easier way that works better for you. Take a look at playonlinux, for example.
Hell yeah, these games rule. I genuinely love the fact that it's a fantasy world that progresses through a renaissance and into an industrial revolution rather than being a permanent middle ages like most settings.
Sidenote but I always feel obligated to jump in and defend Peter Molyneux's honour when people confuse him with Stefan.
