I got on & sat down on my city's public transit line, & right before the doors shut, I saw on the platform three local cops surround an obviously homeless and obviously intoxicated person. They held the doors & said to him, "You wanna get on here?", & when he didn't immediately respond, they let the doors go & said, "well then, you need to get out of here." Then the transit pulled off, but what was I supposed to do? Leap off at the last second & vouch for him? It all happened so fast, but I feel for this person & I feel guilty for not helping him in the moment. Idk i guess I'm just venting but it hit me harder than I expected
