Yesterday I posted to my own facebook the article about US sending convoys into Syria. Right off the bat I got "we already had troops in Syria, so it's not an invasion." That didn't work on me, so I explained what the word invasion meant. Fast forward to waking up the next day and I see a shit load of articles published around the world about how the invasion was fake news. None of them held any water, it was more handwringing about the definition of invasion and many of them alluded to the US colonization being a "good thing." Still caused an anxiety spike for me, since I don't want to post fake news. Anyway fuck libs.
