They actually did get banned on discord for hate speech.
Which I don't disagree that it was hate speech, there were a huge amount of ableist slurs there. However, their ableism didn't matter until it was a threat to capital, and I assure you there's still plenty of servers on discord right now that are full of hate speech.
But they didn't cause a squeeze so it's all good in discord's eyes.
Considering Discord is mostly used by gamers, I expect approximately 95 percent of all messages posted across all servers to mostly consist of slurs anyway
We are experiencing technical difficulties based on unprecedented scale as a result of the newfound interest in WSB. We are unable to ensure Reddit's content policy and the WSB rules are enforceable without a technology platform that can support automation of this enforcement. WSB will be back.
Is what it tells me when I try and access the subreddit. Of course, that's just what they tell you, not what's really happening
It's gonna be the same as the old Chapo sub. The ability/willingness of WSB to actually adhere to the rules is irrelevant, admins will shut it down the moment they feel like it.
Might as well leave the sub open and burn out bright lol
I think it got banned, I was subbed and can’t access it anymore

It’s like Cumtown but with money. Which might not be ones idea of a good time but sometimes you can’t help but enjoy it. Very dirtbag in a way

I recall seeing a stickied post from a mod saying automod was failing like 60% of the time or something from the load, so I actually believe this.
But it's a pretty critical moment for this to happen...
Edit: looks like it's back up
