What's up shitlibs! That's right, bovinecomrade is finally here.

"Who the hell is bovinecomrade and who does that name remind me of?" you might ask. My name may ring a bell due to the influence of my irl lib acquaintance friend, @TransComrade69. They finally recruited me to join, and I figured this would be the best place to introduce myself.

I'm in graduate school working on my masters degree, and I have a lot of resources being thrown my way. And I want to share them! I will try to post materials of various ecological, environmental, sustainability, and general education topics that I am exposed to. I plan on posting resources in !earth, !gardening, !school, !science, !urbanism, and !vegan. I am currently taking a policy class, so I may be posting certain things in !politics and !news as well, more infrequently though. I will be providing resources such as academic papers, textbooks, chapters of books, websites with volunteer/internship opportunities, past webinars and seminars, and potentially links to register for webinars in the future as well (if I can trust people not to crash/troll/zoom bomb the webinars). I'll also post other miscellaneous resources I find to be helpful!

"But, Bovine," you say, "I don't have background in ecology! What would I do with all those resources you're planning to post?" Use them! Educate yourself about the world around you. Environmental studies are so important, the earth is reaching a point where we need changes now, before it is too late. We need everyone to be educated on the facts, because we need to make change.

Anyway, I look forward to helping you all get hip on environment shit real soon.

Thanks for reading! :crab-party: :crab-party: :crab-party:

Hello comrade! I’m a mod over on !earth and have degrees in geology and climatology as well as my masters! Seems like a great overlap to working on this together if you’d be interested! I work in the climate science field currently so that’s my main focus here BUT:

I’m currently writing up a Marxist geography post with an accompanying lecture for the site and have more ideas on the way for the future! I’d love to get some collaborative work/posts/communication for a deep dive into these important subjects! Just let me know

Yes please. Maybe he’s a vegan activist and we are misinterpreting his intentions. So many possibilities
