What maneuvers do you expect they can make?
I think you are giving these hedge funds too much credit. They need to find a way to chip away at their short positions. But they made zero ground today as of yet. They only reduced their shorts by 6% yesterday. There's still 122% of the total GME shares in shorts still out there.
I don't expect people with real influence to sell GME until hedge funds prove they can cover their short positions. /r/wsb is a hive-mind following a handful of investors who actually understand what's going on.
Once hedge funds find a real way to resolve this predicament, there will be several days to sell off, since their short positions is several times higher than the total circulation of GME.
