made this NSFW so as not to trigger arachnophobic comrades. Where my fellow arachnist anarchists at? This little guy is the spinybacked orb weaver. Probably my favorite species of spider. Funny thing I dont like insects but spiders are awesome.

    I’m not looking at the picture. I clicked the title before looking away and scrolling down furiously.

    I really want to communicate how much I appreciate the tag and warning. Like I’m not going to have a panic attack, but seeing a video or closeup of a spider ruins my day. If it’s any spider larger than a fingernail, I leave the room and send my cat in there to scare it away.

    Anyways, since you are a person that likes spiders I’ll add that I appreciate their role and the fact they eat other bugs. I’m not arachnophobic, I’m arthropodiphobic and the enemy of my enemy is a useful tool that shouldn’t be seen as a friend.

    That being said, Fuck anything with an exoskeleton it’s not right.
