    Seriously? He has more influence than most podcasters or Tweeters you listen to probably. Especially among blue-collar/older/Independent people who're never going to read Marx or learn what a pronoun is.

    At the very least, he's a bellwether. People who looked up to him in his prime, people still in his subculture will think similarly. And that's good.

      If i ever claim that podcasters i listen to has cultural relevance, shoot me in the head because i've probably gone insane

      I'm sure those blue-collar people listen to RT regularly

        Jesse Ventura is still a former governor and there are a lot of people that know about him. He does have some cultural relevance.

        Also, many blue collar people aren't that opposed to Russia.

          It has nothing to do with that, i don't have the exact data but i don't think RT has a non-negligable audience in those demographics
