They keep referring to grown-ass women as girls

    What do you think of "lady"? "Woman" sometimes feels like it has an older connotation than someone in their 20s would like, but obviously "girl" is not appropriate.

    If I'm talking about a 25-year-old male friend, saying "this man I know" sounds like I'm referring to someone's dad, and calling a 25-year-old female friend "this woman I know" feels similarly awkward.

      i honestly just default to "person", "friend", or "someone I know"
