that the t has no face is fucking me up. like yea its already a bald and lazy proclamation of reactionary transphobia but wow
the t has no face
And you can tell from the hands that the t is facing the camera, too.
Literally just admitting that they don't see trans people as human beings with emotions, just a faceless inhuman threat.
Even most TERFS know better than to say that part THAT loud.
It was acceptable in online lefty and liberal spaces to be openly transphobic basically until Republicans and Canadian conservatives made it a culture war issue. I legitimately think a lot of liberals who are pro trans rights are coming purely from a "Jordan Peterson is cringe" angle, but take victories where you can I suppose.
People who say "I did a thing" get gulag'd.
Holy shit I hate it so much.
It's funny if what they did is weird or accidental. My reading of it is "I don't know what I did or what this things is, but it's something".
When you're just like " I spent hours on a transphobic drawing, I'm so quirky!" then it's bad.
When we establish the dictatorship of the proletariat, we will have a machine that allows us to punch reactionaries over the Internet.
Based Q. First he destroys the deep state, now he's supporting the trans agenda.
All of the comments are like "wow your art is so pretty" while it's, well, not.
Also from the comments:
I was considering having the B have a big part of it painted over, so it left a P shape (for pansexual- "Queers" first sneaky move in all this haha)
Like "Hi, nice to meet you Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual. My name is Queer. Can I join? Oh btw Bisexual.. I think you'd look better with this little dab of paint.... " evil laugh I... have quite the imagination!
The comment you quoted has me so confused that I don't even know if I should be mad at it. what even is it saying
Some people misunderstand what the difference between bi and pan is, thinking that bi means attraction exclusively towards cis people. They think that pan is just a rebranding of bi to be more inclusive.
The "artist" seems to think that this rebranding is a plot by queer people. Hilarious.
It's both sad and hillarious how hard these reactionaries struggle with such a simple, sweet and innocent thing as being attracted to more than one super rigidly defined gender.
Can someone explain to me why terfs think trans people are, like, dominating LGBT spaces at the expense of all other groups? Obviously the answer is that they're real mad about trans people existing, but what reasons do they give themselves for it?
It's a weird unholy alliance between mostly straight "feminists" and cis gay men, who both really seem to hate trans women for entering lesbian spaces.
I’m a straight guy so my perspective on this will lack all the nuance but it sure does seem like a classic case of some reactionary members of a group getting marginally accepted in some mainstream circles and then wanting to pull up the ladder on those behind them from the outside.
that's it chief
imagine looking at gay liberation history and not entering into a blood oath with all of our trans comrades for all the shit they've done for all of us and the shit they're doing that still needs to be done for all of us :rainbow-has:
Why do they always think trans people don’t want lesbians to exist????? I’ve never experienced this but see that trope often from terf island
CW Terf brain:
Because they're disgusted by trans people, and see trans lesbians as men trying to have sex with "actual" lesbians.
Ironically, in reality they're the ones erasing lesbians
Us on the ace spectrum looking at gay, lesbian, and bi people like "sucks to be attracted to ppl couldn't be me" lmao
If you had asked me yesterday, I would have said it's not possible to somehow dehumanize a literal letter of the alphabet.
But TERFs...TERFs find a way.
Also: Anyone who unironically goes "I did a thing" to be cutesy or whatever gets the wall.
