I have no idea what to believe RE: the Uyghur thing and am too busy right now to do the research to find out the truth. But if it truly is all Western propaganda, what the Chinese is doing in poverty alleviation is pretty incredible.

It's also why capitalist media can't even comprehend. They see something like this and they think there MUST be some hidden secret here. There MUST be something wrong, because it's just so outside of the realm of what capitalist nations do. A government official, going to a community, embedding himself in that community with the express purpose of HELPING that community? There must be a catch! They must be up to something!

You'll never see it reported on here because our media can't even understand it. It doesn't fit into any current mass media narrative.

The poem, i believe, as translated by deepl:

I dare not look into your eyes

Afraid to be drowned by your tears

I couldn't look into your eyes

At that moment, my tears flowed into a river

A pair of hot hands that are getting tighter and tighter

Inch by inch, I moved slower and slower

The sound of your heartfelt advice

You have filled my journey with love

      You filled my way back

      Folks

In 4 years, we have not let each other down

      Just like

The rooster did not fail the dawn

The smoke has not failed the village

The song has not failed happiness

We have walked through the days of clinging together

      Until this morning's farewell moment

      I am like a child

I just left my tearful mother ......

      Ah, goodbye

      My eternal second hometown

      Ah, goodbye

      My village of Bashlakbinamu ......
