Especially when it's three people having an argument
It's not a true struggle session unless it comes from the struggle region of France
A struggle session is only a struggle session if it's a BB post, RIP to a real one
I think a key aspect of a struggle session is when there is a massive misalignment between the emotional investment of the participants and the stakes of the discussion.
Which is why you can have absolute knock-down drag-out threads on say, disabling downvotes.
You might argue "but Dr. a_blanqui_slate, we also have struggle sessions about relatively high stakes things like Syrian Civil War, or China", which is true, but the actual stakes of the discussion is getting people on a shitposting board to agree with your take on the Syrian Civil War, which is of course inconsequential.
