Reminds me of how those people who drink bleach periodically shit out strips of epithelial tissue sloughed off from their intestines (because of, you know, drinking bleach) and consider that evidence that the bleach is curing them of their diseases because they're convinced that the strips of their own intestines that are pouring out of their body are actually parasitic worms that they're purging from themselves.
