Maybe too hot of a take: The communist manifesto is a historical document and worth reading for that reason but it spends a lot of time dunking on other communists that were around at that time so it feels not super relevant to our current situation.
Idk the section on petit bourgois socialism holds up. You can see a lot of aspects of the "other socialisms" in modern life, and the comparison with other parties does a good job to show why communism must be focused around the worker
I wish dunking on other communists wasn't so relevant to our current behavior.
