Most drug addictions produce this behaviour, you see people that get chemically attached to weed and other things build an identity around it.
I think part of it is that people know they have a chemical addiction and this identity building behaviour around it is part of normalising that addiction as being ok. I have a coffee addiction and I'm ok with it, I suspect me being ok with it is in part because I'm addicted but that's kind of how it is. Since addicts want to be ok with the thing they're addicted to they build ways to normalise it.
Someone did a video recently about how all the Qanon republicans (wheelchair guy types) are doing promo vids, probably all directed by the same dark money media coach, where they all talk about how they love coffee, are coffee, live coffee.
It's weird how some people build part of there identity around needing coffee in the morning. Like you have a chemical addiction but whatever
“Don’t talk to me ‘til I’ve had my heroin!”

Hmmmm I have never thought about it that way but I think that makes a lot on sense.
Weed people definitely make it a big part of their personalities.... I still think it's cringe tho
Yes, I used to do this with weed and this is why I would do it. It was one of the top things on my get to know me list which is sad
I have no issues with someone basing their identity on their choice of stimulant, but inking a baby Yoda is unforgivably cringey.
the one in the tattoo could be an adult... but that wouldn't change how cringey it is
legit had a headache this morning cause i didn't drink coffee and it's a wake up call (heh) to stop drinking so much of it.
I've had coffee three times in my entire life and adamantly refuse to increase that number

Felt bad.
