I'm not talking about the small flags that people hang diagonally right next to their front door (ex), I'm talking about intentionally installing a giant metal pole in your front yard. Like this.

At least with something like a giant pickup truck that never sees a dirt road of any kind, you could theoretically use it to haul stuff or hitch a trailer or whatever. But what the fuck is the deal with these flag poles?

    The function of both is purely visual. The big ones are larger and more prominent, so more visual.

      I get the small diagonal ones, as a lot of houses include the bracket so it's easy for people to just stick a flag in there. Even normie democrat libs will put up a flag. I've seen immigrants do the diagonal flag thing on their houses as well.

      The flag poles, however, require that extra step. To go out of your way to lay down cement and put a flag up.... you gotta then keep track of when it needs to be half-mast and all that shit.
