I don't think there's this irreconcilable ideological split, I think theres a lot of common ground with Marxist Humanists, communizers, etc. I've even worked with individual MLs on stuff like housing campaigns.
But I think there is a real world divide.
I've personally soured on working with marxist groups from my experiences with my local non national ML group, the RCP, and SAlt (the three most relevant groups in my area).
If there were a Marxist group in my Area that both worked with other groups and behaved itself I'd probably have a sunnier outlook on them.
Rcp is basically a cult at this point. Have you considered the different Marxist caucuses in DSA? They may not be active in your areas, but at least one should be if you have salt and rcp presence where you are lol.
With the local ML group, I saw them set up an ostensibly independent group that looked worthwhile and joined up. When (due to local culture) that group took an anarch-isht turn, they turned it into a front group and unofficially purged the anarchists through gossip and in groups.
The RCP is the RCP, I don't think I have to say more.
With SAlt, I saw them continuously make themselves the loudest voice in single issue campaigns, then divert from the original issue to campaign for their candidate or advocate their tangentially related demands. At its worst, I saw a prominent SAlt organizer use her platform to split a protest in half, after which we all got attacked by the police.
Anarchist groups have other issues. The main one I've noticed is people weaponizing "believe victims" culture to take down people they don't like. The other is that outside of labor focused groups, not a lot of folks run long campaigns, and focus on either longstanding institutions or a single night of escalation. I wish they'd be better at mezzo scale timeframes.
i honestly dont see anyone on twitter talk more about "Uyghur genocide" and how bad China is and how it needs to be balkanized the way anarchists do and its soooo mind numbing and annoying and just comes off as a lot of self proclaimed anarchists just not being serious people and just liking anarchism as an aesthetic as opposed to any sort of actual strategic revolutionary ideology
Haha, I wasn’t accusing anyone of anything I just think it’s ridic both sides accuse the other of this place being biased against their tendency. So typical lol.
Are there actually anarchists here? According to the humorless folks on Raddle, this site only has “red fascist” MLs.

Lol literally the only tendency board rn is c/anarchism, and a bunch of MLs got banned and said it was an anarchist mod conspiracy.
Anarchism is when you ban John Kerry posters

Nah it’s the second thing. I’m just saying it’s funny they think this is a tankie stronghold when several tankies think the opposite lol. So silly.
