Why is NASCAR like this? Lap 14 of 200 and everyone is bump drafting each other super aggressively and constantly switching lanes/sides. I've seen children waiting for presents on Christmas day that have more patience.
Never thought I'd be watching people gaming.....watched the Gran Turismo finals in Sydney after seeing your post.......unreal. Way more exciting than any real life race. Sucked me in after a couple of seconds. Looks like this is the future. It's probably a purer test of driving skill.
With their setup, the live team backup, it's more like competing simulators.
I've probably only watched a handful of Grand Prix ever, played a little Gran Turismo years ago. The camera angles, all the data on the HUD, the icons over the cars, the graphics, the cameras on the drivers, it's all really compelling.
The peoples motorsport. Hopefully it's coming for the millionaires running Grand Prix in Bahrain where a US supported king runs a police state oppressing the Shia majority.
