      Banning bits as a bit wasn't OK.

      I totally realize most people are going to disagree with me here but I feel compelled to say that banning bits as a bit was a kind of meta thing to do. We have seen TONS of posts from unfunny populations talking about how this joke format is a source of shits and giggles in a tryhard timeline. Irony and dirtbagism aside, taking away that irony without warning was not okay.

      You can say I'm being silly, or humorous or post-meta. Whatever. I love the bits and I love this community. But sometimes I log on after dealing with WORDSWORDSWORDS and astroturfed chacha drama all day, and this bit idea is one of many memes that farms a ton of upbears. It wasn't a good feeling to find bits banned for the sake of irony. Maybe that's hyperironic or post-ironic. But for me, it's true.
