    I'm imagining a Norwegian guy sitting on the sides watching them run through the minefield, casually eating an apple, completely undisturbed when Nazis blow up mines and die or get maimed. That made up guy would be cool.

      I was looking for a picture of suitable Norwegian dudes from WWII, I found this picture instead and it seems like a fitting expression.
