I use Jerboa when browsing from my phone, it likewise lacks the hexbear emotes but is otherwise a perfectly satisfactory way to use the site.

I switch between Sync, Boost and Eternity but I normally open Hexbear in Firefox, use the picker and then paste it into the app.

Android Connect for lemme, just got an update yesterday and works great with lots of options. You can see custom emojis but the list of them doesn’t pop up when you start typing, you have to know the exact name
