"I have carefully reviewed Neera Tanden’s public statements and tweets that were personally directed towards my colleagues on both sides of the aisle from Senator Sanders to Senator McConnell and others," Manchin said in a statement. "I believe her overtly partisan statements will have a toxic and detrimental impact on the important working relationship between members of Congress and the next director of the Office of Management and Budget."
To the Poster Hall of Fame she goes.
like all posts, it's not worth knowing. in the 10 or so years of the GOAT poster's run(trump) he made something 50,000 tweets. Tanden posted like 70,000 in that time.
when she was announced as the nominee, she and her team deleted upwards of 10,000 tweets.
I dont know what the fuck she posted, all I know is she never doubted her posts, she managed to get a couple people fired(Matt Bruenig and some minimum wage workers) and faced real life consequences as a result of them.
that's hall of fame material. it's not any one post, but an entire persona being embodied in the posting career.
She lost Manchin's vote, which means that the Republicans have the power to block her appointment. It appears that all of his appointments thus far have received at least 1 Republican vote, so it's probably not a sure thing that she won't get the job. But we can hope.
I know it probably won't happen, but I'm hoping that Bernie comes in to drop her off Hell In A Cell and she plummets 16 feet through an announcer's table.
This is already more than I expected so now I'm trying not to get my hopes up
white racists bullying a brave woc out of a job smh :capitalist-woke:
