    Yep, the extended benefits are from the federal government, but UI is paid for by the workers directly in the form of state income/payroll tax.

    Doesn't stop the reactionaries and government from thinking anyone drawing when a small amount of their own investment into the system back out is a leech that needs to be stopped. They'll go after you for fraud if you fuck up. They'll kick you off if a former employer decides to retaliate and say you don't deserve it.
