Have you heard about how shit the Starlink satellites have made stargazing. Fucking capitalism.
Any city that has outdoor lighting that's provided by anything more intense than candlelight is going to have this problem, I think.
So I guess we need public transit to the boondocks.
Mood. I knew it was bad because I’ve seen the stars out in the countryside before, but had it hammered home recently when I downloaded one of those stargazing apps and pointed my phone up at the sky. I was supposed to be able to see constellations, nebula, planets and shit up there and irl I could see like a few scattered points of light.
