                The idiom goes "prostitution is the oldest profession", they gave some evidence that imperialist institutions upheld it, but I don't buy it was the cause...

                  Yeah it’s a terrible idiom to excuse more white imperialism.

                  Bad things have been happening in society since we created societies. But in the current form prostitution is directly tied with colonialism and if we want to stop imperialism we must also stop prostitution.
