NEW: China told the US that the anal COVID-19 testing given to American diplomats was "an error" and will exempt them from the practice after Washington complained @VICEWorldNews @violazhouyi https://t.co/pHlCFF1YDv— Alan Wong (@alanwongw) February 25, 2021
I don’t think it’s really clear, considering if you need to get to your position you’re required to do it even when more convenient and functionally accurate tests exist. But honestly consent or medical necessity wasn't even the point of my original post. The post seems more interested in chuckling about Americans uncomfortably getting things put their butts than anything else, and that China (“critical support though”) was based for doing it to them. My point like others was I’d rather not celebrate things that make people uncomfortable related to things going in their ass, regardless of who they are.
I’m not trying to argue about this all day. At the base of this I found your initial response pretty flippant and dismissive, so responded in kind. My comparison isn’t anything I’m willing to seriously defend, so I’ll just leave it at that.
