    It was more about his his husband's reaction to getting a follow on Twitter. Yes it's very cool to get followed by someone famous, but it just seems that the only "mainstream" gay that people are willing to accept and actively promote is the non threatening, effeminate version. No bears, no masculine gay roles are permitted because that's too radical.

    Pete is Callahan from Transmetropolitan, so I don't even try to understand him.

      I kinda think its a lib optics thing... If my gay friend doesn't act super flamboyant how will everyone know he's my gay friend?
