The book "Change Here Now: Permaculture Solutions For Personal and Community Transformation"
This book is honestly a must-read, it's like an organizers manual, it's full of concepts and techniques for actual on-the-ground praxis.
One of the biggest barriers for myself when trying to go out and actually do praxis is knowing what to do. I know about the theory and the overall strategies that socialists need to employ, but when it comes to things like actually going and starting a food pantry or a community garden? I'm clueless. And this book is designed for that kind of person.
For example i've seen people on this website claim that people need to do a "power analysis" of their community so they can understand how to get politically involved, ok that's all well and good.
But how do you do a power analysis?
Thats the kind of shit this book teaches you, the actual nuts and bolts, practical shit that will get you out into the community. It's a bit pricey and I can't find a free PDF, but it's one of the few books that I think are genuinely worth the price if you can afford it.
