That, and I quite like the masks, too. Less anxiety in public, and also messes with facial recognition somewhat as a bonus.
People have been telling me all that was needed was a couple week national lockdown. A few weeks and we could have avoided 200 9/11's, a stonk market collapse, people starving to death on the streets. But nah, muh freedom.
Anecdotal, but it seems like even work is kind of broken. I’ve made two friends at work, and that with effort cause you have to be mindful of COVID and shit, but each and each time I started like getting a real good thing going they end up being transferred to a different shift or site because of vacancies. It’s sucks, cause I just want to make friends with someone here.
