I haven't seen the video, but a lot of this seems very sound?
my biggest complaint is that they downplay the struggle the global south faces from external forces and also endorse sectarianism.
it is also one thing to have ideals and to want workers to be living better lives, it is another thing when you try those ideals, and keep failing to succeed at achieving those ideals over and over by the metrics and refuse to change. they forget history if they do not think vietnam had tried these things before courting international capital like china has. not evolving in the face of these external forces leads to collapse like the soviet bloc and many millions of deaths.
Those rule are forced by loan condition as well.
