I think there's some "evidence" for that take on the story withinn hebrew mythology as yhwh is basically a war and storm god who then becomes the one true God of the israelites but he is not the only of them.

I'm also an idiot white guy raised baptist so my understanding of jewish mythology is limited as hell.
